Join us for a morning of candle making at The Local Collective! We will be making two dough bowl candles with this class. We will go over the entire process of how to make your candles. From melting the wax, picking the perfect scent, choosing a wick, mixing, pouring, and finally curing. We will go over some candle care tips as well, making sure your creation lasts as long as possible. Your candles need at least 1.5-2 hours to properly cool down and allow the wax to harden. Please feel free to mingle and enjoy yourself while your candles cool and are ready to take home or grab lunch and go shopping. You may also pick your candles up the following day. Please note this class is NOT REFUNDABLE. Due to the nature of the class and purchasing materials, we are unable to provide refunds if you are no longer able to attend. Please keep in mind that your candles will need to cool and dry before taking them home. Join Amanda from Burlap and Barnwood for step by step lesson on how to burn your own hat! This workshop will be 2 hours long and will include a snazzy hat, cool stencils, nifty templates, a wood burning tool to play with, and some fancy hat band decorations!

Dive into the world of dimensional art with this hands-on workshop designed to help you create a stunning 12x12 inch floating mosaic piece. In this class, you'll learn the art of arranging and stringing colorful wood leaves, flowers and vine pieces in the frame's open space to give your artwork a unique floating effect. We'll guide you through the entire process, from selecting and preparing materials to designing and assembling your floating mosaic.

Join Cheryl Anderson – the Dotting chick – as we create a dot painted wine bottle with a twinkle light stopper. It’s the perfect lighting on a patio table for enjoying a nice evening.

No experience necessary as all the basic techniques will be demonstrated. Each attendee will finish a wine bottle with your own personal design. There will be a variety of wine bottle colors as well as paint colors.

We will go over the entire process of how to make your candles. From melting the wax, picking the perfect scent, choosing a wick, mixing, pouring, and finally curing. We will go over some candle care tips as well, making sure your creation lasts as long as possible!

**Your candles will not be ready to take home right away! Each candle needs at least 2-3 hours to properly cool down and allow the wax to harden. You will need to pick up your creations later that afternoon or within the following week. If are not able to arrange a pick up, please let me know and I can ship them to you for a small shipping fee.**

Feel free to shop while you wait for your candles to cure, or take a stroll downtown to other shops or even get lunch or a drink!
